Finally- An Update

Okay here's a quick low down on the last couple of months.
November was okay. Nothing too great. Nothing too terrible.
December brought Connor's appt. with the brain injury team in Iowa City and annual post chemo cognitive/audiology testing. Hearing is still fine but they are still wanting to check him every year. Fine by me. I was finally successful in getting him some meds for his anxiety. Now it is monkey around time with dosages till we find the right one for him. Then of course there was his 6 month cancer check. This was with his new oncologist and all was fine. His counts were perfect. A big WHEW on that one.
The Christmas holiday was not the greatest and quite stressful.
My first graduate class ended and I did manage to get an A. So good start for that.
Now it is January. I turned 40 and am glad to be in my forties although it has been a bit of a rocky start. Kyla got sick and as I am typing this she is recovering from having her tonsils out. Yesterday was a bad day for her but I think she may have turned the corner. I have found out that she is allergic to Amoxicillin so apparently she is following in Cameron's footsteps on that one.
My second grad class started last Tuesday and I am looking forward to that. This one is an assessment class where I will be learning how to administer reading assessments.
The annual 24 hour Dance Marathon event is in 2 weeks and we are all very excited about that. I did find out yesterday that we will get to stay in the Iowa House which is in the same building as the event. Very Nice.

That's about it for now. Moving along but not without stress but we are all dealing with it.

Cheers!
A
